DermaBind™ Allograft

HomeHealthcare ProductsWound CareDermaBind™ Allograft

DermaBind™ allograft is a dehydrated intact placental membrane covering that preserves the comprehensive collagen matrix, glycoconjugates, glycosaminoglycans, and naturally occurring cytokines and growth factors.

DermaBind™ allograft undergoes a proprietary preservation method, which retains all native layers of the placental membrane, including amnion and chorion with the spongy layer intact, unlike many placental allografts on the market. This enables DermaBind™ allograft to retain countless growth factors and cytokines. The DermaBind™ allograft process does not use unnecessary chemicals, antibiotics or preservatives and is never frozen. The finished product is physician-friendly, durable, easily applied to a wound, and can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 years.

DermaBind™ allograft contains 640 proteins, including collagens, fibrins, elastins, growth factors, and cytokines.

*Published studies have shown that spongy layer preserves hyaluronic acid (HA), transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-B1), hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), and interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1ra).

DermaBind™ allograft can be used as a protective wound covering as either a partial or full thickness for acute and chronic wounds.
